A seven stage process

• A unique serial number is allocated to your swab for confidentiality
• Place pad under tongue for about 3 minutes
• Stem of swab turns blue
• Sample placed in a tube
• Sample tested, labelled with your serial number and placed in a tamper-proof bag
• You sign the tamper-proof bag to confirm that the sample is yours
• All positive results will be sent away to a UKAS approved laboratory for secondary testing
